Work-in-progress teaser of new longsword animations!
Hello!

We have an honor to present you a brand new work-in-progress teaser showing a next set of new animations – longsword combat! Though new animations are in game yet, most of our team members are working on implementing and polishing them.





Special thanks to Jakub Kisiel, known from his work for many games such as Gears of War and The Witcher 3, where he was animating Geralt himself, for his awesome job with new animations!

We would also like to inform you that upcoming weekly update has been postponed. We decided that we need more time for testing and polishing it, as the update will introduce a lot of massive changes. Please forgive us the delay – thanks to it we will be able to polish mentioned features enough, so you will get the best possible experience.

Will the Animation Rework fix Combat Bugs?

Like for example:
*2h Player can Swing/Stab a Blocking Opponent and STILL HIT!*

A 2h Player can walk up to, and partially walk through another Player.

Effectively allowing the 2h Player to score a BackStab without actually being behind the Target.

The Animation looks Awesome by the way!

Those are simply different block animations for now. The block animation changes each time the character successfully blocks an attack.

i just played Tiger Knight: Empire War plz devs take a look this combat system is perfect like mount blade , especially the charge and block mechanics are so nice.
this combat in an mmo like game with housing like gloria victis in future would be so awesome. it is also free to play so take a short look

not so different from gloria victis just improved the blocking system and animations make the difference and the run and stamina management
