Servers performance update & gameplay improvements (Update v.0.8.5.2)

Hello warriors!

New weekly update is live! First of all, we have successfully moved the crafting system to the new database. The migration was required to solve the recently found issue of servers’ performance degrading over time, which was caused by old database being used in crafting. Moving it will should significantly reduce lag/desync and improve the overall experience in combat – we’ll now be collecting the performance data to see how much better it’s now. Also, we hope to be able to increase the servers’ capacity pretty soon as the effect of this change!

Also, this update includes numerous gameplay improvements and fixes, such as additional solutions preventing players from avoding being looted by logging out. There are also balance improvements to food and potions, as well as new skins for Midlandic and Sangmarian top-tier medium helmet models.

Moreover, we’d like to remind you that the current Glory season will end soon! New season will start on August 1st, so this is your last chance to climb up to the top of the ranking and earn precious rewards, as well as unique titles. Also, according to results of the official poll, we’re going to merge Wolfield and Estovia servers at this day so the European playerbase won’t be split anymore. Due to this change, we’re going to adjust the daily schedule of tournaments and State of War, as well as to do necessary improvements to the guild control system. – Moved the crafting system to the new database – the migration was required to solve the recently found issue of servers’ performance degrading over time, which was caused by old database usage in crafting; moving it will should significantly reduce lag/desync and improve the overall experience in combat
– From now on, a character sits down after clicking “Quit” button – any movement interrupts the logout timer, so it’s no longer possible to logout while running
– Fixed an issue causing that killed character used to disappear while being looted if a player pressed Alt + F4 before dying
– Added interrupting the attack’s power bar after receiving a kick
– Increased range of siege events to cover the attackers’ spawn camps too
– Added slight camera shaking test effect when attacking with full power, being hit or getting staggered to make these actions being more visible for players, to test this write /camerashake at game chat
– Improved the balance of food and potions buffs
– Removed food quality and hunger parameter from beers
– Updated balance of time to change items into other ones
– Fixed an issue causing that NPC’s name was being displayed on screen immediately after it appeared in player’s Area of Interest zone
– Added tooltips of hunger and Mentor Points parameters in the character’s window
– Added 5 new skins for Karleonian Helm (formerly used in Flat Top Helm with Mask and Mail Coif): Aquilla Count's Helm, Mountain March Count's Helm, Frozen March Count's Helm, Iron March Count's Helm, Wenedia Count's Helm
– Added 3 new skins for Praetorian’s Helm: The Spears of the Emperor's Helm, Centurion's Helm, 5th Praetorian Legion's Helm
