Troubleshooting
This thread contains find solutions to the most common issues. Can't find solution to your problem? Please contact us at support@gloriavictisgame.com attaching your output_log.txt file so we can investigate it and help you. The log file is located in C:\Users\user_name\AppData\LocalLow\Black Eye Games Sp z o o_\Gloria Victis. Please note that the AppData folder is hidden by default so you may need to enable displaying hidden files in order to see it.

Note: save the log file before launching the game again or it will be cleared!

1.I just purchased the game and haven’t received the confirmation e-maill, how long it will take?

In most cases, it should be in your inbox within few minutes. If you used bank transfer, it may take some time for your bank to send the transaction confirmation. Please check your spam folder and if you still haven’t received the e-mail, please follow this link: http://gloriavictisgame.com/user/forgot-password
If it wont be here, please contact support with your payment ID and we will force email to you.

2.I cannot find my game key, where is it?

Log in here : http://gloriavictisgame.com/user/login using the e-mail used for donation and password provided with the e-mail from us. If you have donated more than year and a half ago, login with your donation e-mail and password given to log in-game. In rewards panel you will find your game key!

3. My launcher is giving me “Unable to check updater version. Check your network connection!” error.

Please make sure that your antivirus or firewall is not blocking it, then open the launcher as an administrator (Right mouse button > Run as administrator).

4. I can’t register in-game.

To register in-game, you need to provide:
Login
Password
Key - from your donation site (it is advised to retype the key rather than copying it)
E-mail - the same that you used for donation.

If you will have "Key is already in use" error it means that account is already registered. If you won't remember login or password please use recovery option next to the registry button ingame.

5.I have registered but forgot my password, what can I do?
If you wont remember login or password please use recovery option next to the registry button ingame.

6.What if I want to donate and get another account for my friend?
No problem! Simply provide your friend’s e-mail while donating and he will get the e-mail with his account details.

7. What happens with those who donated twice before new website has launched, to get a second account for a friend?

If you donated twice before the new website launched (before 12/2013) and your friend haven’t received an e-mail from us, it means that both payments were made from the same e-mail. Please send me a private message with the transaction’s ID and your friend’s e-mail and we shall solve it right away.

8.We are a guild or/and group of friends, can we get a discount for multiple accounts?

If you want to register more than 5 accounts simultaneously, please contact support@gloriavictisgame.com and we will figure something out for you Smile

9.Is it allowed to record video in-game and put on YouTube or any other sites?

Yes.

10. My game freezes at loading screen, holds on with "black screen" or hang on connecting all of the time:

Sometimes game loading might take a few minutes, if it won't unstuck after this time do those steps:
The first thing to try is to delete "Data" folder inside your game folder. It contains config files only.
If the problem will still occur please go to our main website and download new launcher. Remove entire game and download it once again.

11. Server maintenance error

If the problem is persistant, make sure that gv.exe file isn’t being blocked by antivir or firewall

12. Wrong version error

It is possible that a patch was applied when your launcher was updating the game files. Restart the launcher to enforce the update and make sure that your game version is up to date.

13. Loading characters issues

Please install these files:

14. Game stops loading at 0%/90%

Please install these files:

If that will not help, please, check your connection - turn off firewall or antivirus, or make right exceptions there.

15. Performance issues

16. Glitched textures

Please make sure that your antivir doesn’t block gv.exe and Steam and use “Check files integrity” option on the game in Steam library
